§ Mr. O'MalleyOn 8th January 1976, 120,555 students were registered as unemployed, the majority of whom would have qualified for some form of social security benefit. The total cost of benefits paid to students during the vacation cannot be separately identified.
§ Mr. MacGregorasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether the Government intend to make any change in the legislation and Regulations affecting payments of unemployment and social security benefits to full-time students in advance of the Easter and Summer vacations 1976; and if she will make a statement.
