§ Mr. Kinnockasked the Secretary of State for Wales (1) what moneys will be made available to local authorities in Wales after 1st April 1976 for the purposes of lending to home buyers and home improvements in the private sector, respectively;
(2) what proportion of moneys allocated to Welsh local authorities for purposes of mortgage lending by his Department is to be earmarked for lending to house purchasers and owners for purposes of improving their homes.
§ Mr. Alec JonesLocal authorities will be informed shortly of their allocation for private sector lending in 1976–77. The allocation letters will give guidance on the distribution between lending for house purchase and lending for improvement.
