§ Mr. Tugendhatasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will ensure that the London rates equalisation scheme for 1976–77 will provide the City of Westminster and the City of London with the same benefits as other Inner London boroughs.
§ Mr. OakesMy right hon. Friend is still consulting the interested parties about the proposals of the London Boroughs Association for the 1976–77 equalisation scheme. As, in recent years, all Inner London boroughs and the City of London have been contributors to, not beneficiaries from, the equalisation scheme, I am not clear what the hon. Member has in mind.
§ Mr. George Cunninghamasked the Secretary of State for the Environment with whom the statutory consultations about the London rate equalisation scheme referred to in his reply of 4th February to the hon. Member for Islington South and Finsbury are taking place.
