§ Dr. OwenThe Leicester Royal Infirmary is the main teaching hospital in the area. It is hoped that phase II of the development will be in use towards the end of 1977. The Regional Health Authority hopes to let a contract shortly for residential accommodation in support of this phase. Working drawings for a third phase are being prepared.
It is intended that the Royal Infirmary should be one of three district general 234W lodged within eight weeks of the event which gave rise to it.

The Regional Health Authority has not yet had its capital allocation for 1976–77 and has therefore, not decided its programme, but the Glenfield project is at an early stage of planning and will not be ready to start in that year.
