§ Mr. William RossThe Solicitors (Scotland) Bill now before another place contains, in Clauses 7 and 15, provisions for lay participation in the consideration of complaints against solicitors in Scotland. During the Second Reading debate on the Bill on 29th January my noble Friend the Minister of State indicated the Government's support for the principles embodied in the Bill, and welcomed, in particular, the provisions in Clauses 7 and 15.
