§ Dr. GilbertOut-turn information on local authority expenditure in 1975 is not yet available. Forecast net expenditure for Great Britain for the year 1975–76 was 141W published in the White Paper on Public Expenditure (Cmnd 5879) at November 1973 prices, and showed roads and lighting maintenance £285 million and parking—excluding loan charges—£16 million. Expenditure on traffic control, removal of vehicles and measures to ease congestion, is not separately identifiable.
