Agricultural Exports

Mr. Pym

asked the Secretary of State for Trade what was the total value of British agricultural exports in each of the last six years; and if he will list the categories of exports and their value.

Agricultural exports are broadly covered by SITC(R) Divisions 00, 01, 02, 04 and 05. For 1974 and earlier years the figures are published in Table 303 of the Annual Abstract of Statistics 1975: comparable details for 1975 are given in Table V of the December issue of the Overseas Trade Statistics of the United Kingdom, with a more detailed commodity breakdown in Table VI.
