asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will now have consultations with representatives of the self-employed and the small independent businesses with a view to implementing the Resolution of the House on 30th January 1976 concerning taxation.

Mr. Robert Sheldon

I and my officials have had consultations with representatives on a number of occasions recently and matters raised at those meetings are still under consideration.
