§ Mr. CroslandAs I informed my hon. Friend the Member for Sunderland, South (Mr. Bagier) on 14th January—[Vol. 903, c. 362–3]—it is my intention to issue a consultation paper on transport policy within the next few weeks. In due course, when consultations with the numerous interested bodies have taken place, the Government will publish conclusions.
§ 47. Mr. Ioan Evansasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what consultations he has had with trade unions, management and other interests in the transport industry on the transport policy review; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. CroslandI keep in close touch with all transport interests through frequent meetings at ministerial and official level.
