§ Mr. Edgeasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what is Her Majesty's Government's policy towards the United Nations resolution for self-determination for the people of the former Spanish Sahara.
§ Mr. EnnalsHer Majesty's Government supported Resolutions 3458A and 3458B on 10th December 1975 on the explicit understanding that both Resolutions provided for the right to self-determination of all the Saharan people originating in the Spanish Sahara and for effective measures to ensure that this right could be fully and freely exercised.
