§ Mr. Edgeasked the Secretary of State for Industry if he will list in the Official Report those companies or organisations which he has asked to conclude planning agreements; and if he will list those with which agreements have now been completed.
§ Mr. KaufmanThe Department has been pursuing its consultations with both sides of industry, including the CBI the ABCC and the TUC, about the arrangements for planning agreements. In addition, it is conducting exploratory discussions with a number of companies, but these have not reached a stage at which we are in a position to make a statement.
