asked the Secretary of State for Defence how many members of Her Majesty's Forces are currently enlisted in the Open University.

I am informed by the Open University that, for 1975, the number of finally registered students serving in Her Majesty's forces was 1,226. A comparable figure is not yet available for 1976.
