§ 72. Mr. Hal Millerasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what rate of new council house building he expects for 1976 and 1977, respectively.
§ Mr. FreesonIn contrast to the disastrous trend in public sector house-building during 1970–73 we have produced a major recovery, which I hope will be maintained. Starts in 1975 were up by 53 per cent. on 1973 and new approvals up by 52 per cent.
