HC Deb 04 February 1976 vol 904 c591W
Mr. Michael Spicer

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food when he intends to release the results of the survey undertaken by his officials in the west Midlands area of the extent and cost of the damage done to glasshouses and polythene tunnels by the gales which ravaged the area on 2nd January.

Mr. Strang

Assessments were made throughout the country as well as in the West Midlands of the damage suffered during the storms of 2nd January. These formed the basis of the reply given to the right hon. Member for Cambridgeshire (Mr. Pym) on 16th January, which dealt with the most significant findings.—[Vol. 903, c.286.]
