asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what is the amount of Government grant payable to the Hertfordshire County Council in the respect of any compensation payment that may be made in respect of land and premises at Cow Roast, Tring, owned by Essential Autos Limited and upon which a discontinuance order was made by him on 16th November 1971.

No Government grant is payable to the Hertfordshire County Council in respect of any compensation payment that may be made in respect of land and premises which were the subject of a discontinuance order made by that county council as the planning authority and confirmed by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State.
