Lord WELLS-PESTELL

Her Majesty's Government receive advice about the proportion of airborne lead which is absorbed by the human body from the Chief Medical Officer, Sir Henry Yellowlees, members of his staff and the expert Sub-Committees of the Chief Medical Officer's Committee on Medical Aspects of Chemicals in Food and the Environment. In providing such advice, those concerned are aware of and take account of all published and much un-unpublished details of research in this field. This includes both the work of Professor R. A. Kehoe and the work of Dr. A. C. Chamberlain.

House adjourned at five minutes past six o'clock.
