HC Deb 02 February 1976 vol 904 c423W
Mr. Kilroy-Silk

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department in the last year for which figures are available, how many prisoners were injured by other prisoners; how many were subsequently sent to hospital; whether any such prisoners have been released prematurely on account of their injuries; and, if so, how many and what criteria are used for determining whether to advise early release in that circumstance.

Dr. Summerkill

During 1975 no prisoner was released prematurely because of injuries inflicted by another prisoner. I regret that the other information requested is not available.
