§ Mr. KaufmanThe British Steel Corporation bases its coal procurement policy on available domestic supplies and keeps in close touch with the NCB about its requirements. But some coking coal of a quality not sufficiently available in the United Kingdom needs to be imported. Details of tonnages purchased abroad and the sources of imports are commercial matters for the Corporation.
