Mr. Atkinsonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth 194W Affairs if he will put before the International Atomic Energy Agency a paper setting out the British view in regard to the Non-Proliferation Treaty and the need for effective security arrangements at all stages of nuclear fuel processing.

Furthermore, as my right hon. Friend stated on 6th April, a resolution was recently introduced by the United Kingdom in the International Atomic Energy Agency to allow States which are not parties to the Non-Proliferation Treaty to accept International Atomic Energy Agency safeguards on all their civil nuclear facilities.
