HC Deb 21 December 1976 vol 923 c171W
Mr. Robertson

asked the Secretary of State for Employment what was the number of insured male workers within the Paisley employment exchange area in February 1974, and how that compares with the present position.

Mr. Golding,

pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 15th December 1976; Vol. 922, c. 732–3], gave the following information:

Employment estimates for local areas are made in respect of June each year. The numbers of male employees, employed and unemployed, in the Paisley employment office area at June 1974 was just over 27,500 and there was little change in the subsequent year.
