HC Deb 21 December 1976 vol 923 cc156-7W
33. Mr. Luce

asked the Secretary of State for Employment what representations he has received about the Job Creation Programme.

Mr. Golding

Since the Job Creation Programme was launched by the Manpower Services Commission in October 1975 it has aroused a great deal of interest and I have received a large number of letters from MPs, members of the public and interested organisations both on the general principles and on particular projects. It is not possible to give details of all these representations, which have ranged from criticism of the value of some of the projects to enthusiastic approval and requests for the scheme's extension.
