42. Mr. Whitehead

asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many representations he has received about his decision not to implement the full provisions of the Health and Safety At Work etc. Act 1974; and how many of these referred to the decision as likely to endanger the social contract.

45. Mr. Park

asked the Secretary of State for Employment if, further to his reply of 19th November 1976, he is now in a position to make a statement on the issuing of regulation concerning safety representatives, under Section 2(4) of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.
