§ Mr. Skeetasked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will make a statement on the projected energy commission, giving its intended functions and specify what degree of impartiality it is intended to have.
§ Mr. Rostasked the Secretary of State for Energy (1) if he intends to publish a discussion paper outlining proposals for the establishment of an energy commission to oversee national energy strategy;
(2) if he has any proposals to establish an energy commission to oversee national energy strategy; whether such a body will act in an advisory rather than an executive capacity; and who will be represented on it.
