§ Mr. Sillarsasked the Secretary of State for Industry what has been the total amount of grants in the current year made under Section 7 of the Industry Act to firms operating in the regions of England.

These grants are equivalent to about £54 per head of the registered unemployed in Scotland and £39 per head in England.
