§ Mr. Rostasked the Secretary of State for Energy when he expects to publish the report of the Combined Heat and Power Group under the Chairmanship of the Chief Scientist.
§ Mr. EadieMembers of the group have recently completed a comprehensive analysis of the prospects for combined heat and power in the public sector in both the medium and the long term, and comparisons have been made with a wide range of alternative heating methods. The report of this work will be made public early in the new year and the group will finally report and make recommendations when interested parties have had the opportunity to comment on the analysis.
