§ Mr. John MorrisOf the 147 bodies that have made representations to me following the publication of the White Paper "Our Changing Democracy" (Cmnd. 6348), 16 commented specifically on the proposed system of voting. The following were in favour of the Government's proposed system: Council for the Principality, South Glamorgan County Council, Wales TUC, Welsh Council.
The following favoured some form of proportional representation:
