HC Deb 13 December 1976 vol 922 c514W
Mr. Brotherton

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs in what circumstances applicants for visas and entry permits into the United Kingdom are not required to furnish photographs of themselves.

Mr. Luard

Visa applicants are required to furnish photographs where this would assist in the efficient and speedy processing of visa applications. Entry certificate applicants are not normally required to produce photographs.
