§ Dr. J. Dickson MabonThe current rate of crude oil production from the United Kingdom Continental Shelf is approximately 400,000 barrels a day. Up to the end of October some 20 per cent. of total UKCS production so far had been exported as crude oil, and the rest was disposed of for refining in the United Kingdom.
