HC Deb 13 December 1976 vol 922 c481W
Mr. Sillars

asked the Secretary of State for Energy what is the present flow from North Sea oilfields; and where the crude oil is refined.

Dr. J. Dickson Mabon

The current rate of crude oil production from the United Kingdom Continental Shelf is approximately 400,000 barrels a day. Up to the end of October some 20 per cent. of total UKCS production so far had been exported as crude oil, and the rest was disposed of for refining in the United Kingdom.
