§ Mr. BishopI would refer my hon. Friend to the replies given to the hon. Members for Conway (Mr. Roberts) and Hertfordshire, South-West (Mr. Dods-worth) on 22nd November and 2nd December respectively. The levels of radioactivity in inshore waters and in fish taken from them have been closely monitored for more than 20 years by the Ministry's Fisheries Radiobiological Laboratory and the results are kept under constant scrutiny. In recent years the results have been summarised annually and published in the series "Radioactivity in surface and coastal waters in the British Isles" in a standardised form to facilitate comparison. The 1974 report has just been published and a copy will be placed in the Library of the House shortly.—[Vol. 919, c.875–6; Vol. 921, c 264–5.]
