Mr. Sillars

asked the Secretary of State for Energy what is his latest estimate of coal stocks.

Mr. Eadie

Total coal stocks on 20th November 1976 were estimated to be 34.5 million tons.

Mr. Woof

asked the Secretary of State for Energy what has been the level of coal stocks at pitheads and at the power stations, respectively, each week since 1st April 1975; and how these compare during each of the last four years.
