§ Mr. StrangThe Government's forestry policy remains as it was clearly outlined in a ministerial statement on 5th July 1974—[Vol. 876, c.288–90]—following a major review. However, my right hon. Friend and his colleagues will be looking most carefully at the findings of the inter-Departmental review group recently set up to consider the question of how private forestry is affected by Government policies on taxation, grants and amenities.
