§ 15. Mr. Cockcroftasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if she will bring forward legislation to enable schoolchildren who reach their sixteenth birthday by December of the academic 126W year to leave school at the end of the autumn term providing they have the offer of employment or an apprenticeship.
