§ Mr. Les HuckfieldAt 1st December 1976, 298 applications had been received. So far 119 offers have been made and 23 applications have been refused or withdrawn. Offers have always represented the appropriate percentage of the eligible qualifying costs of the project—25 per cent. for plant and machinery, 15 per cent. for buildings—and this has usually required some adjustment to the amounts initially requested.
