§ Mr. Kilroy-Silkasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) whom he intends to consult about the future classification of documents;
(2) if he intends to set up the broadly-based committee as recommended in the Franks Report to classify documents; and, if so, who will be the members of the Committee.
§ Mr. Merlyn ReesAs recommended by the Franks Committee, the Government will discuss the establishment of an informal committee on classification with representatives of the news media and others directly affected at the appropriate time.
