asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they approve of the British Leyland Company's refusal to deal with unions representing black workers in South Africa and, if not, whether they will use their influence as share holders to change this policy.

My right honourable friend the Secretary of State for Industry, is is in touch with the company about their policy towards black trade unions in South Africa, which they are keeping under review.
