§ Mr. Woofasked the Secretary of State for Trade what was the number and the subject of consultations which his Department has undertaken with the Commission of the EEC on policy matters under the terms of the European Communities treaties to the latest available date.
§ Mr. MeacherConsultations between the Department and the EEC Commission are too frequent for specific occasions to be detailed. However, developments on subjects of major importance to this Department since March 1974 have been published in the White Papers on Developments in the European Communities (Command 5790, 6349, 6497 and the Renegotiation White Paper Command 6003). Information on major developments to the end of November 1976 will be given in the next Report on Developments in the Communities which is expected to be published soon.
