§ Mr. Jim Marshallasked the Secretary of State for Employment (1) if he will compile a central register of the number of homeworkers (outworkers) by requesting local authorities to submit to him on a six-monthly basis the figures for the number of homeworkers (outworkers) 99W they obtain from their responsibilities under Section 133 of the Factories Act;
(2) if he will introduce legislation to enable trade unions to inspect the register of homeworkers (outworkers) kept by local authorities.
