§ Mr. KaufmanThis information is collected under the provisions of the Statistics of Trade Act, in accordance with which the figures can only be made public if the firms in question give their consent. My Department is seeking this consent, and I will contact the hon. Member as soon as possible.
§ 19. Mr. Hal Millerasked the Secretary of State for Industry how many shipbuilding firms are likely to fail; and how many opportunities the aircraft industry will miss as the result of the Government's intention not to nationalise these industries.
