§ Mr. Cartwrightasked the Secretary of State for Employment whether the pay restraint policy agreed between Her Majesty's Government and the Trades Union Congress allows payments beyond the agreed limits to be made to individuals who have accepted additional responsibilities.
§ Mr. Harold WalkerUnder the pay policy, individual employees who have taken on additional responsibility which is clearly identifiable and significant may be paid the appropirate rate in terms of the existing pay structure without the increase counting against the pay limit.
