HC Deb 02 December 1976 vol 921 c256W
Mr. Adley

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many claims have been made for compensation by people who have suffered, or on behalf of people who have suffered brain damage, caused, or believed to have been caused, by vaccination against whooping cough.

Mr. Alfred Morris

A good many representations about the alleged after effects of vaccination have been received in the Department over the years; but I know of only two claims of the kind mentioned in the Question which have been made through the courts.
