§ Q17. Mr. John Ellisasked the Prime Minister what arrangements for consultation are envisaged between directly elected members of the European Assembly and the Prime Minister as head of the Government.
§ The Prime MinisterI have at present no proposals for arrangements of this kind. The Government are, however, considering the Third Report from the Select Committee on direct elections which included a recommendation on communications between members of the European Assembly and Ministers generally.
