§ Mr. Beithasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what is preventing him from giving or considering approval to any of the house building and property acquisition schemes of Alnwick District Council; and by what date he expects to be able to make decisions about some or all of them.
§ Mr. ArmstrongThe proposed programme of new house building and acquisition recently submitted to the Department by Alnwick District Council is currently under consideration by the Department's regional office in Newcastle. Decisions will be announced shortly.
