§ Mr. Denzil DaviesIn practice many married women who cease employment already themselves receive any repayment of tax deducted from their earnings, and the separate assessment provisions enable a married woman to receive a repayment of tax on her income, whether in employment or not. I have no plans for introducing legislation to go further than that.
