Mr. Alan WilliamsTrichlorophenols are produced at three factories in the United Kingdom. 2,4,5-Trichlorophenol is made at Bolsover, near Chesterfield, Derbyshire. 2,4,6-Trichlorophenol is made at Ruabon, near Wrexham, Clwyd,1114W and at Oswaldtwistle, near Accrington, Lancashire. The type of plant which may generate TCCD as a by-product is that producing 2,4,5-Trichlorophenol.
