§ Mr. MaclennanInformation collected for the General Index of Retail Prices shows that in June 1976 the average cost of meals in restaurants and cafes was 2 per cent., 22 per cent. and 161 per cent. higher than in April 1976, April 1975 and April 1970 respectively. No comparable information is available on a regional basis.
