Mr. Tugendhat

asked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will publish details showing from which countries the United Kingdom imports each of the following commodities and the percentage of the United Kingdom's supplies from each of these countries: oil, uranium, iron, nickel, aluminium, copper, lead, zinc, fluorspar, manganese, sulphur, phosphorus, coffee, tea, cocoa, sugar, grain and cereals, fertilisers and animal feeds.

Precise information in the detail requested could only be provided at disproportionate cost. Some information on the countries supplying these imports can be obtained from Tables II and III of the published monthly Overseas Trade Statistics of the United Kingdom.
