§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether, in view of the apparent mistakes made in the replies to parliamentary Questions regarding British passport holders entitled to claim residence in Great Britain as detailed in the correspondence between the hon. Member for Newham, North-West and his Department, he will make a statement explaining how these mistakes occurred; and what is the exact position to date.
