§ Mr. FreesonI have no information about the number of local authorities who are employing private bailiffs in recovering rent arrears, nor am I aware of any complaints about their activities. If my1208W hon. Friend will let me have details I will consider what action is needed, although the powers of bailiffs does not appear to be primarily a matter for my Department.
