Miss Richardson

asked the Secretary of State for Defence (1) whether Vietnamese has been taught to members of the Special Air Service;

(2) what languages are currently being taught to members of the Special Air Service.

Mr. Duffy

A wide range of language training is available for the Services as a whole. It is not the practice, however, to give details of the specialist training or capabilities of the Special Air Service Regiment.
