asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will publish in theOfficial Report the names of the sporting and other organisations and hon. Members who have made representations to him concerning proposed regulations under Section 10 of the Lotteries Act 1975.

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a statement in the light of the concern expressed by sporting organisations regarding proposed regulations under Section 10 of the Lotteries Act 1975, details of which have been sent to him by the hon. Member for Liverpool, Scotland Exchange.

My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Home Department is responsible for making regulations under Section 10 of this Act. I have already informed him of my concern that the provisions of the regulations should give football and other sports clubs a reasonable opportunity to raise the funds they need to survive and prosper.
